It occurs to me that this is the only online computer game I've ever seen or heard of where the creator/owner actually seems to care about what his clients think about the game, where we actually get to interact and express ideas and concerns.

Really, it's pretty amazing. Kudos to Puddles and team for going above and beyond the call of duty, in the way you care about your product and your client base.

But it also occurs to me that it must be very frustrating receiving streams of "great ideas" and "things that could be made better", many of which are impossible, or at least improbable. How do you keep up with hundreds of gamers with "great ideas"? Especially when the game is so complicated, and upgrades are so much work, beyond what we can see? Maybe that's why most game creators are more distant.

So Puddles, my apologies if I come up with "great ideas" when your plate is already full. I know you can't do everything for all people all the time, and you've already done so much. Take my suggestions for what they're worth, which only you can decide, and any time you decide that they aren't worth much, it's okay with me. I'm just keeping my qwerty keyboarding skills in shape.

And it's still the best horse racing game in the world.

I've tried them all....

I have tried ALL of the horse racing simulations on the internet over the years. They all suck.I could name them all but one that comes to mind immediately is.... Digiturf..... No owner/product developer interaction with customers. Customer support and product support was non existent. The community never responded to inquiries. Only when I uninstalled the product did they want to know why I left. Can anybody say "duh!" I was so disappointed in quality and support of ALL of the horse racing simulations ( not just digiturf) available I stopped looking.

By chance one day, I was Googling something and HRF came up. Up to that point I had never heard of Horse Racing Fantasy. I did a little research and decided to check it out. What a GREAT find! I hit the jackpot!

HRF is THE BEST horse racing game there is on the 'net!. Period. Puddles and staff REALLY care about the game AND, yes, their customers. They are constantly trying to come up with new ways to make it even BETTER! How utterly refreshing!

Have a question/problem? The community answers. Puddles and staff answer. Need support? The community and Puddles and Co. answer. Need a tutor to learn the game? That's available too. Feel the need to voice your opinion about the games? Go right ahead. It's FREE! The community is awesome!

I love this game! The realism is incredible! I have been a part of the horse racing industry for years. This game is as close as you can get to being an actual jockey, owner, trainer, bettor, and breeder of thoroughbred race horses. It is addicting! It's exciting! I'm hooked and lovin' every minute of it!

I also agree with everything said, i cant imagine how many emails, phonecalls, pm, whatever eles from every PERSON who looses a race.
Guess what favorite lose way more then win. Everyone in the race cant be the winner. lol So, i would like to personally thank Puddles and his staff for everything. They have taken time out to help me way above and behond.

I challenge anyone to find a better horseracing game with better support NOT HAPPENING.

Although I ain't no freakin' cheerleader, I must agree with the praise of this game.
Definitely the best in Customer Service.
It's also one of the best mmpogs on the net.

And Puddles is a badass!
Sorry, I have a limited vocabulary and come from the streets.
"Badass" is the highest form of praise where I come from.

Any other computer game owner wouldn't even know you're in his/her game, let alone what you're thinking! Everyone involved with this game is very fortunate to have a man that's genuinely interested in his customer base.

I don't like to do the community thing for EVERY topic, BUT

...when it comes to Puddles and his staff, I feel compelled to speak up. I have spoken to Mike on more than one occasion, (several, actually) and not only is he a pretty cool dude, but hte does actually care about this game, and the community. It is a sad fact, but he can't possibly grant every request, as this game would be going in so many different directions at once, it would be maddening to both himself, and all of the people that play it. You can't please everybody, but they do make an effort to do what they can regarding public opinion. To anyone out there that isn't happy with every aspect of this game, guess what? You are in the majority. No one agrees with EVERY decision or direction this game goes or is going, but the pluses still far outweigh the minuses. I am quite certain that you could not find a better horse racing game-ANYWHERE! If you feel you can, i'm sure the door is open, so feel free to leave.
I personally like most of the choices they make regarding the future direction of this game, with the exception of claimers. Only one race, and someone else can take my horse and win with him/her? No thanks. It is like giving away one of my friends, theoretically speaking. I just don't like the idea of giving away my horses. Besides that, the Blue and Reds are both serving their purposes, and there is always big money and/or golden oppurtunities for most of the good horses out there. This game is great. Please keep on doing what you are doing, Puddles and staff.
