Hey!

Hey Beefybruno,

You have a few dilemmas. You have 100+ horses that have not run in tournaments, so you do not know their true racing ability. And you really do not want to retire without really knowing what you have. So, you may have to spend a few buck until you determine what is the best in your barn. If you do, I think it will be worth it in the long run. Having breed 100+ horses is not all bad, it actually gives you a nice advantage.

This is what I would do in your situation. Determine the total number of horses I want to keep. Maybe 10 of the best sprinters and 10 of the best routers. I would make sure I had both those that like grass, dirt, synthetics, etc. With that you have a good size barn with lots of options.

Currently the stable fees are 10,000 points a horse. It may be lowered for VIPs, but that is still a lot of points.

Immediately I would retire the horses that do not run well in private mode. Any horse that is not consistently running 110, I would retire. With whats left I would enter into tournaments to really see if they can run. After two or three races and they did not perform, I would retire them. Some are going to be tough to cut because they will be borderline, but if you're like me, you really only want the best in your stable

The great thing I would say about having 100+ horses is you really have a good base to choose from, so once you narrow it down, you should have some fairly competitive horses. My guess, based on the averages is that you have about 40 decent horses and maybe 10 really really good ones. So if you identify the 10 really good ones and add about 10 or so more of your decent ones, I think you have a solid stable.

I hope that helps. I think you will have one of the better stables once you narrow it down a bit. You have the law of averages in your favor.

Good Luck
